Maya is a Writer and Artist.

Maya likes to believe she’s a jack of all trades in the writing trade. She’s spent time as a Games Journalist for WePC, GGRecon, and GFinity. Then later moving on to an Editorial role at SPCR – but where her true passion lies is in creation. Maya was awarded an Excellence Scholarship at Edge Hill University which she then used to fund the creation of Silver Linings and Red House Games – a tabletop games publisher.

Silver Linings was succesfully funded on Kickstarter and will be seeing a UK Games Expo 2025 debut! In the meantime, Silver Linings has shipped dozens of copies all the way to Australia, USA and even Puerto Rico!

One of her short stories – L’Homme de Dieu – came in second for the Edge Hill Short Story Prize whilst she was a Masters student and later she went on to turn it into a short audiobook.

Originally born in Monte-Carlo, Maya comes from English and Swedish parents and thus speaks English, French and Swedish fluently. She graduated with a Baccalaureat in Administration and Management but her true aspirations lay in creative work. She moved to the UK in 2016 from Monaco and studied Creative Writing, graduating with a Bachelors and a Masters in Creative Writing with top marks from Edge Hill University.

When she’s not writing, she’s usually running D&D for her friends, playing games or having fiercely passionate debates about what makes a movie or TV show good.
